This is the Privacy Policy of TipTap Inc. dba TapGrub (“TapGrub” “us,” “our,” or “we”), a Delaware corporation with offices at 1972 Harrison Street, Santa Clara, CA 95050. This Privacy Policy describes how TapGrub collects and manages your personal information (i.e., any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual) as part of providing our Services (defined below).

This Privacy Policy applies to our “Services” which include:

  • our mobile applications “TapGrub” and “TapGrub Business”

Please note that certain Services may be facilitated through our third-party business partners. II. Personal Information TapGrub collects

Personal information collected through the Services

A. Vendors

If you created a TapGrub Business account, you are a Vendor. We will collect personal information from you in connection with your use of the Services, including

  • your name;
  • address;
  • email;
  • role; and
  • phone number.
B. Guests

We collect information from you through your use of the Services, which includes the creation of a guest or registered account and your use of TapGrub mobile application (“Guest”). Personal information collected may include:

  • your name;
  • contact details such as your phone number and email;
  • your address and other general location details;
  • your geo location if you choose to share it;
  • your payment card information, such as the brand, card number, security code and expiration date;
  • transaction information and details (e.g., history of goods/services ordered, date, payment method and amount of payment);
  • account and profile information such as your username and password;

Personal Information Collected Through TapGrub Website

We may collect personal information when you visit our Website and contact us about our Services, request an onboarding kit, schedule a product demo or subscribe to our media channels (e.g., blogs, podcasts, etc.). This personal information may include:

  • your name;
  • your address;
  • your role (if you choose to share it);
  • email; and
  • phone number.

III. Personal Information Collected From Other Sources

Depending on whether you are a Vendor, a Guest or a visitor to our website, we may also collect personal information about you from third parties including our business partners. We may also collect information from you that is publicly available (e.g. social media).

Information Collected Automatically

We collect information automatically when you visit our website, use our mobile application(s) or complete a transaction. Information collected automatically by cookies, web beacons or other similar technologies may include:

  • information about your device, such as your device type/model, number and device ID;
  • information about your browser, settings and operating system;
  • your internet protocol (IP) address;
  • unique advertising identifiers; and
  • browsing and usage activity, such as the referring domain, what websites/content you have viewed or actions you have taken on a particular website.

Location Information

We may collect geolocation information through your devices to provide some of the Services. For example, when you use TapGrub you can search for restaurants in your area by allowing TapGrub to have access to your location information, including precise geolocation information collected from your device. If you do not consent to the collection of this information, certain Services will not function properly and you will not be able to use those Services. You can stop our collection of location information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device.

IV. How TapGrub Uses Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • To provide, support, and maintain our Services, including
    • to diagnose technical and service issues;
    • to verify your identity and to verify account information for new and existing Vendors, registered users and Guests during registration, onboarding, and otherwise as necessary to ensure compliance with our policies and terms of service;
    • for contracting and agreement purposes;
    • to provide communications, support and training related to the Services;
    • to process transactions through the Services; and
    • to enable Vendors to access and use the Services, including Guest and registered user information that is necessary for Vendors to use the Services;
  • operate and manage our business, including
    • analyzing the performance of our Services;
    • creating and developing analytics for the benefit of our business and the business of the Vendors;
    • research and product development purposes;
    • improving the Services and the Website.
  • To communicate with you or provide information you have requested, including
    • provide notifications in relation to your purchases;
    • providing you with our newsletters, white papers, podcasts and other materials;
    • sending you digital receipts;

V. How TapGrub Shares Personal Information

  • with our Vendors for the purposes of providing the services to Guests and registered users;
  • with third party service providers to deliver, maintain and improve the Services, including hosting and information technology services, payment services, identity verification and fraud prevention services, and customer support services.

  • as necessary to:
    • comply with applicable laws and regulations, subpoenas, or governmental requests;
    • protect our rights or property as well as the users of the Services from illegal and harmful activities;

TapGrub retains the personal information we receive as described in this Policy for as long as You use the Services or as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide the Services, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.

VII. Your Rights And Choices

Managing your information

You are able to keep your information up to date and accurate by managing your data through your account.

As a Vendor, you may access, change or correct the account information at any time by logging into your account through TapGrub Business. In other instances, please contact us at support@tapgrub.com.

As a Guest, if you registered an account with us, you may change and update your information through an account created as part of the Services. If you are a Guest and would like to have your account deleted, please contact support@tapgrub.com.

Managing communications

TapGrub may send you communications to provide the Services (whether directly or through a third party), including:

  • Communications pertaining to your account and the Services:
    • sending you digital receipts via email;
    • authentication of your account when you register for an account with us;
    • notifications sent by Vendors as part of the Services, such as order status or pick up notifications;
    • responding to feedback that you have provided in relation to the Services or the Vendors;
    • account related messages as part of your use of the Services, such as setting up your account or responding to your support tickets and requests.
  • Marketing communications: we may send you marketing and other promotional communications for new or existing Services. You can opt out of or unsubscribe from any marketing communications by following the instructions in those messages, by changing your communications preferences within your account or through your device. You can also opt out by contacting us at legal@tapgrub.com. Please note that you may still receive certain non-marketing communications after opting out if they pertain to your account and/or the Services.

VII. Security

We implement appropriate administrative, technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, damage or loss. Even though we have taken reasonable measures to secure your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant that the collection, transmission and storage of personal information will stay completely secure.

This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected when visiting our Website or otherwise using the Services. While visiting our Website or using the Services, you may be directed through links to third-party websites or services that are not operated or controlled by us.
